2026 Festival Highlights

I Remember Gamble Contest
We are pleased to announce that the Gamble Roger’s Folk Festival will once again be hosting the “I Remember Gamble Contest”, which is dedicated to the memory and legacy of St. Augustine’s favorite son, Gamble Rogers.
The contest will be held on Sunday, April 13th at 3:45PM at Gamble’s Living Room Stage.
If you knew Gamble, grew up listening to his wonderful songs and stories, or are just learning about him and his music, you are welcome to participate. Tell a story of meeting him or how he impacted your life, or perform a song or story of his that has inspired you. If you don’t know Gamble’s music, we encourage you to explore it, listen, and choose a song or story to perform or write your own song about Gamble. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place cash prize money will be provided, as it has for the last 25 years, by the Gamble Rogers Foundation.
The Workshop Tent
One of the most beloved traditions of the Gamble Rogers Folk Festival is the opportunity to learn directly from the musicians who keep the folk tradition alive!
Whether you are an experienced musician or simply a fan of folk music, these sessions offer a unique chance to go beyond the stage and explore the craft behind the songs.
Workshops are included with the festival ticket.

YoungFolk Stage
The YoungFolk Stage highlights the next generation of musicians, giving performers age 21 and under the opportunity to step onto a nationally recognized festival stage. These talented young artists represent the future of folk music, carrying forward the traditions of storytelling, songwriting, and musicianship that the
Gamble Rogers Folk Festival celebrates.
